On her recent visit to London as the Special guest at Ghana’s 62nd independence celebrations, our foreign minister, Honourable Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey visited the offices and properties of the Mission across London.
The High Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Ghana has hosted a well-attended Diaspora Town Hall meeting at the Dominion Centre in Wood Green London. Newly appointed Ghana Ambassador to Belgium, Mrs. Sena Siaw Boateng paid a courtesy call to our High Commissioner Papa Owusu-Ankomah. The two Envoys held discussions on a wide range of matters that they deemed beneficial to the interests of Ghana in Belgium and the UK. Some of the key matters discussed were how the two missions can collaborate in the aftermath of Brexit and how best to safeguard Ghana’s exports to the UK and the EU.

The Government of the United Kingdom has pledged funds to undertake three major infrastructure projects in Ghana this year.
