High Commissioner join Ghana Christian Council UK to celebrate Ghana’s 62nd Independence in London

The Ghana High Commissioner to the UK and Ireland His Excellency Papa Owusu Ankomah, was the special guest of honour at a non-denominational thanksgiving service organised by the Ghana Christian Council UK and Ireland (GCCUK) at the Methodist Central Hall Westminster, on Sunday 10th March 2019. The service themed “Celebrating our Diversity” was to climax Ghana’s 62nd Independence anniversary celebrations in London,

The thanksgiving service was chaired by Rev Canon Shadrach Ofosuware chairman of the GCCUK and pastor of Freedom Centre International. Also, in attendance were the church leaders and congregation of the various Ghanaian churches across London and friends of Ghana. The High Commissioner attended with his wife Mrs Augustina Owusu Ankomah, the Deputy High Commissioner Madam Rita Tani Iddi, sectional heads and staff of the Ghana High Commission.
